My Dual Shock 3 Impressions

Happy Valentines Day to me! I just barely got this Dual Shock 3 PS3 controller in the mail today. If any of you have played the PS3, then you know that the controller doesn't rumble. Well Sony solved that problem by releasing the Dual Shock 3 recently in Japan. You can't buy these outside of Japan as of right now and no one's sure when they will be coming out this year in America.

I'm a huge PS3 fan boy so I decided to take the plunge and import. I haven't spent much time with it yet, but so far I can say this, "I MISS RUMBLE!" The controller is twice as heavy as the original controller. The white is very white, and all my favorite games now have rumble, including PIXEL JUNK MONSTERS!!!!

To All You Love Birds

Ah Valentines Day! What a wonderful day! A day for giving valentine cards, chocolates, flowers, hugs, and kisses. It’s all about spending time with your significant other. Maybe snuggling up by a fire place while whispering sweet sweet nothings or, embracing each others touch with the help of Barry Manilow and a candle lit dinner. Isn’t it wonderful!

But what if your like me and don’t have a significant other to spend today with? Don’t fret! Cheer up! If you’re like me, chances are, you’ve already celebrated with a deliciously seductive JCOM test. Or perhaps the soft supple touch of a math quiz. “Oh school, my love for you knows no bounds. You are but the sunshine of my day and warmth of my heart.” Nothing says “I love you” like academics.

And as far as academics go, somehow college missed the boat on Valentines Day. Specifically what I mean is, for those of use who are single today and in college, not only do we not get that candle lit dinner but we also do not get those valentine cards that were so prominently focused all through child hood and easing off into high school. Who doesn’t love those commercialized valentine cards, cards that featured Saturday morning cartoon characters like Superman, saying “I think your SSSSSUUUUUPER”

As far as college is concerned, you’re either on one end of the spectrum, rarely in the middle. On one end of the spectrum your married, engaged or steady dating. The other end of the spectrum is well….me. Not dating anyone, and still living at your parents place blogging about life’s annoyances. If you’re lucky enough to be on that steady dating spectrum, in theory this is the time when Valentines Day will be the best in your life! What I mean is young love, new apartment, perhaps a career to pay for that expensive dinner, and a few kids if any at all. So enjoy it!

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!.....Now excuse me while I wash the bitterness out of my mouth.
